Gentlemen, ladies; the individual in the attached photo is Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, otherwise known as Bobrisky.

She is a boy!

Born into a polygamous family of three wives, and the youngest child of the pack, she . . . I mean . . . he . . . no no. . .she-he deployed the most unlikely of strategies to not just escape from pathological poverty, but slide into Byzantine luxury.

LET THE STATS CONVINCE YOU

– N600,000 earnings every week
– 22,000+ Snapchat views every day
– Most Googled person in West Africa in October/November 2016
– Most popular cross-dresser in Africa
– Mansion in Lekki, Lagos
– Dedicated Wikipedia page
– Plus endorsements and movie roles.
– Arguably more popularity than any Nigerian legislator.

SO WHAT JOB DOES BOBRISKY DO?

Nothing!

Practically nothing. You heard me.

Well . . . erh . . . other than cross-dressing and making up to look like a female, Nigeria’s Snapchat’s male barbie has NO job but makes serious money.

S/he simply deviced a comprehensive strategy which leveraged on powerful psychological tactics based on:

– People’s curiosity
– Social media addiction
– Constant controversy.
BOBRISKY’S SMART STRATEGY

1. Bobrisky was born effeminate (behaves like a woman) and chastised for it. However, he discovered – during his Unilag days – that the behaviour gave him plenty of attention . . . ultimately popularity.

Being very intelligent, he knew that

POPULARITY + STRATEGY = PROSPERITY.

2. Bob started selling bleaching cream to students. He’d make up and dress like a lady to attract attention, and eventually started bleaching to prove that his creams work. The whiter Bobrisky got, the more creams he sold.

PRODUCT + DEMONSTRATION = LOYAL CUSTOMERS.

3. Since his customers were mostly ladies who loved to show off their looks, he leveraged on social media to catch them in bulk.

He didn’t upload videos of his creams. Nope. Rather, dressing like a female and applying heavy makeup, Bobrisky instantly became the FIRST Nigerian man-woman to battle women in their own game of beauty and on their own platform – Snapchat.

This came across as rare, abnormal, exotic, and controversial.

He even talked about HIS boyfriend!!!
Women felt very insecure. They insulted him, called him names but with each name calling, his popularity grew.

PRODUCT + CONTROVERSY = BRAND GROWTH!

4. His brand (BOBRISKY) became so popular that he deleted his Snapchat account, created a new one and made people pay N10,000 just to follow him. 300 complied in less than one week. That’s N3,000,000!

Soon after, he landed a movie role in Ghost and the Thug. Endorsements followed.

Canadians, Brazilians, Kenyans . . . all started ordering his creams at $100-400 per unit; selling more than 3 every day.

Not many top singers make that much in a week.

POWERFUL BRAND = MONEY MACHINE

Dude constantly makes all this money almost effortlessly. But with all the hardwork in the world, too many popular celebrities don’t come close to his income.

Those who came close or are richer, have tangible careers/huge businesses and have worked extremely hard.

BOBRISKY doesn’t see the need for any of that stress! Common sense was all he needed even though Nigerians initially and sill think he’s foolish.

Dude is into the business of making money through strategic controversy.

WHAT’S MY POINT?

Bobrisky makes you think he’s gay (Hell no. He isn’t. Not in Nigeria)

Talks about wanting a boob job and butt implants. For where?

Even staged a wedding introduction ceremony with his mystery boyfriend. Lol

All of this is a ruse by this almost IRRELEVANT 26-year old cross-dresser to appear RELEVANT by capitalizing on several “TABOOS” in building a solid brand – his ultimate money machine.

I don’t care what you do – preacher, teacher, entertainer, politician or businessperson – without a brilliant STRATEGY, get ready for TRAGEDY!
